The source I am using is Nielsen. Here is their February 2024 report.
1. YouTube (9.3%)
2. Netflix (7.8%)
3. Hulu (2.8%)
4. Prime Video (2.8%)
5. Disney+ (1.9%)
6. Tubi (1.7%)
7. Peacock (1.4%)
8. Max (1.3%)
Tubi has been steadily growing in its share of streaming—last January it had less than 1%.
"February was also a big month for FAST services, as Pluto TV, Tubi and the Roku Channel experienced gains of 10%, 8.3% and 8.1%, respectively."
While FAST (Free ad-supported streaming television) services have taking away market share from the traditional paid streamers, there's also significantly more competition than there used to be in that area, which could slow Tubi's growth.
This market resolves YES if there is any month within 2024 where the monthly Nielsen streaming report lists Tubi with a higher percentage of streaming than Disney+.
I will use the order of the streaming services listed (i.e. even if they have the same decimal %, if Tubi is listed first that counts).
If for some reason I am no longer able access Nielsen streaming reports (that follow a similar format as the one I linked to) for multiple differnet months in 2024, then I will resolve this N/A.
