So for this question, we are talking about if white is adversarially trying to either win OR lose, can black still guarantee a draw, correct?

@jack Exactly. For example, Black would not be allowed to sacrifice a lot of material for a mating attack if there was no way to get a draw out of it.

@BoltonBailey the same question should also apply to white?
