This market is part of a series of markets inspired by a scroll through Rumble.com. They will be resolved to PROB based on the spirit of the hypothesis (somewhat vibes-based), using evidence posted in comments and own research if necessary.
I will not be trading in those markets.
If you want to discuss this series of markets in general there is a Discord thread.

I don't see anything that could justifiably be called a collapse starting anywhere near market creation, IMO this is a clear NO, any objections?

There has been a widespread crash in the value of stocks in the USA, Japan, Europe... That sounds like a market collapse in my opinion. The question is whether this is the beginning or not.

It didn't start a year ago in any reasonable meaning of those words, did it?

Well, I did not check when was the question initially made. Being one year ago, it makes sense that the resolution is "No", as it did not happen.

It could have different if it was enunciated right now.

It could be*

Let me remind the resolver that the stock market up since the opening date. Not normal collapse behavior.

There are always ups and downs in the short term, the important thing is whether the recent drop in the stock market will be known as the beginning of a recession ahead.

@CodeandSolder

Can you give some guidelines on how this resolves?

I understand this is vibes based-ish but what's a definite yes? 20% drop?

Yeah I hope "going down about a year after predicted" doesn't count as a collapse in any way..

I just bought yes so I hope it does... :) seriously speaking we definitely need clarification

I may have gotten carried away betting this down 😬 gl
