This is similar to /StrayClimb/bridge-built-connecting-prc-mainlan but ALSO requires it be a LAND bridge. i.e. the surface of the ocean must be raised above sea level in a continuous path from mainland China to the main island of Taiwant. If the land bridge has breaks which are then connected via conventional bridges, it can still count, for example if channels are left through which large ships can pass. However, the overall effect has to still be of a land bridge.

This would be an extremely unusual, damaging, expensive and unprecedented undertaking, but on the other hand, it would allow the PRC to very clearly claim that Taiwan is now fully, physically part of the mainland.

At least some work must have started and project must be funded and on track. It must connect the main body of asia in the mainland PRC as of 2023 to the main land of Taiwan island. Multi-step is okay as long as it's all connected. For example, Mainland => Kinmen County => A small island near Taiwan => Taiwan main island would count.

You'll be able to travel above water not flying between the countries i.e. it's not a tunnel.
