Will the bug be fixed before EOY 2024

The bug

  • When you are in a server

  • ctrl+K

  • type "general"

Should: prioritize or at least be sure to show THIS SERVER'S CHANNEL OF THAT NAME

Actual: seemingly INTENTIONALLY showing random other garbage, such as other servers similar channels, or even USERS YOU HAVE NEVER INTERACTED WITH WHOSE NAME HAS SOMETHING IN COMMON

WTF Discord

This is the type of thing that slack does NOT get wrong. This weakness in the product org is why slack is good and discord overall just sucks. There's some dumb person in the org there, easily identifiable from the inside, who is persistently not fixing this.

Someone in discord: please go to your internal bug tracking db and look for bug/feature reports of this. I bet there are over 100. Who is killing them? That is the problem with the company.

This insanely easy to fix, intern-level bug, which hits every daily user of discord EVERY DAY, is still unfixed, 6 months later!
