Currently, I think that it's extremely likely that I get a CS major at Tufts. I'd estimate that the odds >95% that it happens (though the actual percentage of people who say that they're >95% likely to get a certain major who actually get that major is probably below 95%). I really enjoyed CS classes in high school, and expect to continue enjoying them in college. I am a Freshman going into Tufts this coming year, and am part of the class of 2027.
Resolves YES, if, during the year that I get my first set of diplomas from Tufts (which will likely be when I complete my Bachelors, which most likely will occur in 2027), a diploma recognizes that I am a Computer Science Major. Resolves NO if I cease attending Tufts for at least 3 consecutive semesters (or have very good reason to believe that this will occur), or the second-half of the YES condition is unsatisfied.
I will not bet in this market. I want neither the appearance of nor the incentives to change what I do in college based to fake money.
@ES221712 Oh, whoops! I'm going in as a Freshman this year, and am a part of the class of 2027. I believe the diplomas will be sent out after I complete my Bachelors, which should be in 2027 as I’m part of the class of ’27. So, this market will resolve at the end of 2027
