What does this resolve as if the UK no longer exists in its current form, say Scotland leaves or something?

@NiclasKupper If the UK still exists in some form in 2040, this resolves based on that.

Note that even if the UK breaks up entirely before 2040, this question still has to stay open to see if it reforms.

Ah, but the UK also ceases to be a constitutional monarchy if King William V abolishes Parliament, or reduces it to a powerless advisory body in a UK under his absolute rule.
