This market will resolve YES if an experiment at the Future Circular Collider discovers a new elementary particle (i.e., one that had not been discovered already in any previous experiment). It will resolve NO if the FCC is permanently shut down, destroyed, or otherwise permanently concludes its experimental runs without discovering such a particle. It will also resolve NO if it becomes obvious that the FCC is never going to be built in the first place.
