Reports say that an UNRWA training center that was used as a shelter for refugees was hit by the strikes. Hamas and Israel blame each other.
This market will resolve to the result of a review of mainstream media and OSINT investigations. I will be making the judgement but I will make it in a way that should reflect the majority opinion of informed experts. This market may resolve early if the responsbility is abundantly clear, but otherwise will resolve after 4 months, unless there is a reasonable expectation that important relevant information will come soon, in which case the market will be extended.
Per NYT, โU.N. officials did not say explicitly who had fired on the shelter, but said it was hit by tank rounds; only Israel uses tanks in the conflict. The Israeli Defense Force later said it was looking into the possibility that Hamas had hit the building.โ
UN has not however stated definitively it was Israel, and Israel claims to have ruled out their own aerial and artillery strikes, no comment on ruling out their own tank strikes to my knowledge.

@weissz Tank you phosphor the info. Btw, the US is the most biased source of information in this conflict outside of Israel itself.
