 That's a good point - yes, if it happens at any point before 2030 this will resolve as a YES 

 Thanks. Just wanted to clarify that the market is not only about overtaking JavaScript. Another question: is this any year before 2030, or just the 2030 report?  If typescript were to be number 1 next year, I would probably say it had become most popular “by 2030”.
