Movies that get delayed such that when they release they no longer qualifying for the 97th Academy Awards and as such are not nominated for an Oscar at the 97th Academy Awards will resolve NO.
The 97th Academy Awards will be held in 2025, for movies that had a qualifying initial theatre run that began in 2024.
@houstonEuler It premiered at a film festival on Sep 5, 2023, but what qualifies it for the Oscars is a theatrical run in a US metro area, of at least seven consecutive days, with at least 3 screenings daily, etc. etc. there are a bunch of qualifications
The point is that it doesn't matter when it actually first was shown, it matters when the producers decide to do its theatrical run
