Resolves Using:

Criteria(s) For "Yes" At Resolve:

  • If the company is based in Hong Kong*.

  • If the company is one of the ten largest companies by market capitalization.

  • After the last trading day of 2024 for all relevant stock exchanges (should be Tuesday 31 December 2024).

Criteria(s) For "No" At Resolve:

  • If the company is based in Hong Kong*.

  • If the company is not or no longer based in Hong Kong*.

  • If the company is not one of the ten largest companies by market capitalization.

  • After the last trading day of 2024 for all relevant stock exchanges (should be Tuesday 31 December 2024).

"Other":

  • I keep tabs on the stock market regularly and if I notice any special company rising the ranks, I might put it in as an option.

  • If there are any recommendations please feel free to comment, I will add them as I see fit.

*Meaning of "based in the UK":

  • As I said I would be resolving using companiesmarketcap.com, but if I had to give a definition, it would mean if the company had either its legal or operational headquarters within the premises of Hong Kong SAR (excluding mainland China just to be clear), the stock exchange it is listed on is mostly irrelevant (Jardine Matheson is of interest here).

  • In the rare case that one company switches its headquarters to another country that is not Hong Kong, it will resolve as "No".

    Eg. If Jardine Matheson moved their operational and legal headquarters to the United Kingdom, then it would resolve as "No".

Market Capitalization (Market Cap):
