Arguments for infohazard: AI video might be so addicting and personalized that the right prompt may suck the user in, and the user may never be able to stop consuming the AI video. Text AI might be able to convince suicide or criminal behavior.
Roko’s basilik is a thought experiment, but isn’t actually an infohazard yet, and is only based on a possible future.
A problem I see is that some users are already highly vulnerable, having mental health or addiction issues. A vulnerable person succumbing to AI-generated content and being pushed over the edge by it isn't surprising in itself. What would be surprising would be if someone without any previous mental health issues was mentally hijacked by a single video, like the "samizdat" in Infinite Jest.
@Jono3h though, a poll is probably more applicable then, now you're incentivising people to not report truthfully but just guess audience expectations
