I remember there being speculation that Jamie Hewlett, visual artist for Gorillaz, is Banksy, based off the fact that a lot of Banksy art tends to show up wherever they travel, and he did the art for the Blur album "Think Tank" which looks rather like a Banksy piece (the Blur album being relevant here because Gorillaz is headed by Damon Albarn from Blur). I don't really know how this stacks up to the other people Banksy is suspected of being though

@ngoomie that's similar to the case for Robert del Naja (from Massive Attack) that people have been building for years. They've compared/mapped the MA tour schedule with new pieces revealed and the fact that RdN is a visual artist himself etc.

@ngoomie The Think Tank cover was a Banksy stencil (if we believe he makes his own stencils, but that's a different scandal)...
