Background. According to the 2024 World Happiness Report, the United States ranked 23rd in the world for happiness, dropping out of the top 20 for the first time. The report is generally released on 20 March ("World Happiness Day") and is based on data from the three years preceding the report.
Resolution criteria.
This market resolves YES if the United States ranks 22nd or higher in the 2025 World Happiness Report (i.e. the US rises in the rankings relative to 2024). Otherwise, the market resolves NO.
Resolution will be based on the report published on the World Happiness Report website: https://worldhappiness.report
This market will resolve as soon as the 2025 World Happiness Report is released. In the extremely unlikely event that the report has not been released by the market's resolution date, the market will resolve as N/A.
