Resolves to the acronym which Sahra Wagenknecht will form (probably early 2024).
Currently, "BSW" is used because club is called "Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht" but it might not be party name. The club website.
Slight deviations are considered equals for the resolution. For example, PVG=VG if the P is for "Party".
Um bekannt zu werden, soll die neue Partei zunächst Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht (BSW) heißen. -Telepolis
Die neue Partei der Ex-Linken Sahra Wagenknecht soll spätestens in zwei Monaten in Sachsen starten. „Wir werden Ende Februar bis Anfang März den Landesverband gründen“, sagte Sabine Zimmermann, die Landesbeauftragte des Wagenknecht-Bündnisses, am Donnerstag der LVZ.
From the four main points they promote, “peace” seems to be the most unique one to me. Wagenknecht also published a peace manifesto earlier. Considering the ballot papers, voting for “peace” feels good, of course.
@marketwise I was sure there already exist a "Friedenspartei" but I cannot find it. This one seems the most likely from the current options.
And I guess I can appreciate the irony of the name.
@AlexbGoode The term has been applied to multiple parties, the Greens, AfD, and probably others. That is an argument against it as BSW might consider it "burned".
@marketwise BSW being pro-Putin and anti-immigration are their two main attributes. And the anti-immigration part is really hard to put in a name. Which is an argument for Friedenspartei.
@marketwise correct, how strict are you planning to resolve this? Maybe they just use VG for example
@AlexbGoode That would be fine. I don't want to you submit VG and VuG and whatever combinations just in case.
I actually think it will be a word like "Grüne" or "Linke" but I have no good idea for a short one.
