I am challenging myself to eat as many calories as I can on Christmas Eve. I will eat all of my favorite foods without limit. I will not however eat past the point of being very uncomfortable. My diet this day will likely consist of pizza, pastries, eggnog, and possibly some alcohol.

My eating window will likely be ~10am-11pm.

I am pretty darn accurate and experienced when tracking my calories and macros, so you're better off assuming I will very accurately track my intake. I will track all my intake with the Macro Tracker App Called "MacroFactor" and will share my nutritional information on Christmas Day at which time:

I will resolve to the listed answer that is closest to my actual calorie intake. If I am exactly in between two options, I will round up.

My total calories were 7790. This is more than I expected and more than the market expected.

🤨

@komplexkonjugat The way to read this is “I am challenging myself to eat as many calories as I can without eating past the point of being uncomfortable”.

Does this help you make sense of the question?

I welcome edit suggestions but I need more than the disturbed emoji face.

@zerothaxiom It wasn't criticism of the resolution criteria, just my instinctive personal reaction "hey, that... doesn't compute 🤨".

For reference, I went to a traditional swedish julbord (TL;DW: think smörgåsbord on steroids) last weekend and ate ~8000 kcal (estimated, but I have a couple of years practice with MacroFactor myself so I'm fairly well calibrated with regards to calories) in 4 hours after which I had a stomach ache for an additional 3 hours. Even had to take a nap during the after party, but I was back in business drinking again by midnight.

In my mind "eating as many calories as I can" strictly implies being uncomfortably full. But I do recognise note everyone functions the way I do.

Anyways, Merry Christmas and good luck with your gorumand challenge!

@komplexkonjugat Oh yeah I gotcha. Yeah, while I would like to really push myself here, i still want to have a good day on the 24th, and wanted to be honest to market participants about that. 8k in 4 hours is pretty damn impressive. 😮
