@Arch1e can you please take a look at below question

@KevinBurke I apologise, I hadn't checked in on the site in a while. It seems fairest to me to follow the resolution criteria in the market description, even though I concede that in the future the FIA ranking is a better way of judging who is truly last.

sold Ṁ626 NO

I need clarification here. Are you just counting ties based on points? Because F1/FIA have a tiebreak procedure for drivers who are tied with 0 points - it goes to the highest race finish which is why Sargeant (highest race finish 11th place this year) is currently 20th, and Bottas (highest race finish 14th place) is currently 21st.

If you resolve "YES" because "they both have zero points" that's not technically how F1/FIA ranks drivers.

Note the way championship ordering is determined for drivers who score no points is based on the highest race finish. For this reason Kubica finished ahead of Mazepin a few years ago even though neither scored any points and Kubica only raced in one or two events.

What happens if a reserve driver like Lawson in 2023 does not surpass him? Does that resolve no?

predicts NO

@SethWalder Yes, so even if Lawson raced once and scored 0 points, but Sargeant had scored one point over the course of season the market would resolve no.

Similarly if Lawson raced once and scored 2 points and Sargeant scored 1 point in the whole season to finish last the market would resolve yes
