This question resolves YES if, over the course of 2030, I personally use grocery stores that have "just walk out" style technology more often than I use grocery stores without that technology. An example of this technology is Amazon Go: It's a store where motion-tracking is used to determine which items a shopper picks up as they move through the store and then automatically charges their account when they leave, without a checkout process.
I exclude department stores like Target and Walmart from the totals, only stores that essentially only sell food count.
I will not trade in this market.
Amazon doesn’t think so, they chose to close 8 of them so far, more then a quarter of the total. Including closing all of the stores in San Francisco, https://techcrunch.com/2023/03/07/amazon-to-close-eight-amazon-go-stores-in-seattle-san-francisco-and-new-york/amp/
