At any of my local grocery stores in San Mateo I will see a trash picking up robot of some kind for their parking lot or grounds by mid 2026
Why don't people think this is close? I imagine a large outdoor Roomba with hivis could do a good business visiting from say 2-5am weekly at most places around here. With high minimum wage it's viable right? Although if at least one person is still needed for supervision maybe you don't profit
If cleanliness matters a lot maybe it could also have extensions for that fun turbo jet cleaning style?
@Ernie That was my thinking too! Surely this must be a thing already? Run it overnight to keep it clean, easy peasy.
@Nikos yeah with improved vision and mobility it would be great. Plus minimum wage is so high in the US, and so many areas are full of junk, it's a prime target. I wonder if there are startups doing this yet
