Balaji Srinivasan announced "The Network School", a two-month event on an island near Singapore (Sep 23 - Dec 23, 2024). Stated goals are to allow the participants to learn about technologies and humanities, burn calories during daily workout slots, earn (crypto-)currency and have fun.
Resolves YES if publicly available information (news websites, the official network school website, participant testimonies) indicate that at least 30 people participated in the program by Dec 23 2024. To count as a participant, the person must stay at the Network School for at least one week.
Resolves NO if no such information is available on Jan 23 2025.

3.00I did some further research and found a wired article (https://www.wired.com/story/network-school-balaji-srinivasan/?ref=thenerdreich.com ) to the effect that the inaugural class consists of 150 people, which also matches up with other sources on social media (https://x.com/BerkeleyWanner/status/1839304540509909144 ). Also there were some photos showing rooms with at least 20 people attending talks. While there is certainly room for more independent coverage and official statistics, I think by now I am convinced that the bar of 30 people from the resolution criterion has been surpassed. Thus I'll resolve the question to YES.
