This is the month-on-month figure - released around six weeks after the end of the month that is being measured (December in this case).

The big news this morning is that GDP dipped for the quarter, meaning that the UK is now technically in recession.

But ONS figures also show that we shrank by 0.1% in December meaning that this market resolves to NO.
