  1. Pornographic Videos Definition: Defined as visual content by OpenAI Sora showing sexual acts or genitalia to sexually arouse viewers, excluding non-sexual nudity.

  2. Launch Definition: A product is launched when it’s available for sign-up and use globally (~in over ten countries), with payment allowed.

  3. Poll for Judgment: Once explicitly pornographic content from OpenAI Sora is verified, users will vote to determine if it meets the criteria. Decisions are based on a majority vote, ignoring any poll manipulation attempts.

  4. Video Length: The video needs to be at least 10 seconds long.

It is fascinating that LeCun really did not see this AI video thing coming at all. Makes me question his other predictions on AI. He even said it would require a completely new architecture and won’t be generative AI.

*deleted comment confusing 2 markets

Arb (no genitalia disjunction or video length requirement)

@JuddRosenblatt i think this satisfies all criteria except the last one which states the video must be atleast 10 seconds long…

@DiegoZamalloaChion i don’t think it was deleted and not sure which TOS you are referring to here

bought Ṁ30 NO

Why bother, there's plenty of models on HF that do this already.

I’m curious why this is so low, when GPT-3 first launched (and ChatGPT to an extent), you could prompt them to say some pretty crazy shit. Are we confident that OpenAI can completely prevent particular content (sexual or not) from being generated in this new format?

Here’s some pics of stuff I asked GPT-3 in 2020… it took several years for OpenAI to nerf this kinda stuff

@schlongenheim Bet on it!

bought Ṁ20 YES from 36% to 37%
bought Ṁ150 NO

@schlongenheim i think the criteria of the market is what makes it low. it is likely someone manages to generate genetalia using sora but that would not be enough to resolve the market yes

@Soli "i'll know it when i see it"?

This question is copied from this one by @jacksonpolack with slightly different resolution criteria. The market is his idea so go check it out!

The kind of modeling and "understanding" Sora is capable of will also help with robust moderation. It'd be a PR disaster for it to generate something particularly fucked up, so they definitely won't half-ass this.

bought Ṁ10 YES

If it exists, it can be used for porn

bought Ṁ25 NO

They probably excluded porn from the training data set, so the capability isn’t there.

bought Ṁ50 NO

@ahalekelly While I bought a NO this may not be the reason. AI models are known to be able to generate things they haven’t seen in the training data set.

10min wasted for generating the banner image 😅

How are you qualifying the launch?

@shankypanky this is important!

@shankypanky good question

Launch Definition: For this question, the product is launched when it becomes accessible for signup and use in more than ten countries. A requirement for payment is acceptable. The start of a rollout phase is not considered the official launch; the launch is marked by full accessibility.
