There is a section of the population that believes Donald Trump will not be on the final ballot for the November 2024 Presidential Election. Due to his legal troubles and possible conviction he'll be barred from running for election for the POTUS. Please make a bet if you have a position on this.
@SusanneinFrance the resource will be the November election itself. There are multiple scenarios in which he might not be on the ballot. It doesn't need to resolve to a specific scenario. The end point is the November election.
@chemvishnuusa can you clarify? There is not a single “final ballot.” There are 51 ballots: one for each state and one for DC. What are the conditions in which this resolves to NO? Trump on less than 51 ballots? Trump on no ballots? Trump not on the majority of ballots?
@pie if he is contesting a National election for POTUS then it does not matter if he is only on some ballots. He could be on the ballot in some states but not all. Possible but not probable. If he doesn't have a realistic shot of winning the electoral college then most likely he'll be replaced. The resource will be the November election itself. There are multiple scenarios in which he might not be on the ballot. It doesn't need to resolve to a specific scenario. The end point is the November election itself. Whether he is contesting the November election or not for POTUS.
@SunilOcara yes. To make it simple whether he has dropped out or not. I guess it's not worded that way. He could drop out and still be on the ballot on some or all states. But it'll resolve based on whether he dropped out or not
