Through a press release or NYT / WAPO / WSJ, if Worldcoin reports having signed up a billion users before Jan. 1, 2026, this will resolve Yes then. Otherwise, this will resolve No on Jan. 1, 2026. If there is any dispute or doubt about the company claim being true, this will still resolve Yes as this market is not specifically concerned with deception.

Worldcoin has migrated to a new system that does not store iris codes (variation of n-way one time pad using hamming distances between the split data .. compared against (I believe) the entire database? — seems very expensive computationally and I wonder how it could scale to 1000x people). Looks like it should alleviate some of the privacy concerns surrounding biometrics being leaked.
