After suffering a loss in the European elections, French president Emmanuel Macron has chosen to call for new legislative (parliamentary) elections. These elections are typically held right after the presidential election and are favorable to the president, but in 2022, the presidential party did not obtain an absolute majority. These elections are in two rounds and will be held on June 30th 2024 and July 7th 2024. There are 577 members of parliament in total. I will count the amount of seats awarded to "Ensemble", that is Renaissance and its allied parties Modem and Horizons.
