@Teddy they don't take effect until March 12
As of 12:01 a.m. eastern time on March 12, 2025, all imports of steel articles and derivative steel articles from these countries shall be subject to the additional ad valorem tariffs
The resolution of this trade was premature. Tariffs have currently NOT been imposed on Canada.
@EricOosenbrug @strutheo He signed the order. That means tariffs were in fact imposed and if you wanted the question to be about whether companies ended up actually paying, you should have said so.
@WilliamGunn go ahead and check out the resolution criteria ... It was NOT whether it was signed, but explicitly whether it was enacted on products ... So don't know what to tell ya
@strutheo I see you've chosen to remove the resolution criteria you had previously... Hmmmmm that's suspicious
@WilliamGunn No. Because, I didn't expect @strutheo to delete it after the fact. You'll notice he asked to reopen the trade (below) after I initially pointed out the error. This is a highly dishonest trade.
@WilliamGunn I see you benefits from the mistake on this trade, what a surprise. I wonder, do you take screenshots of all your resolution criteria just in case there's fraudulent activity? I doubt it. More dishonesty. @mods should have addressed this days ago when @strutheo requested ...
@EricOosenbrug Sorry, I'm not cranky at you, Eric. I just don't recall seeing any criteria and am trying to figure out what's happening here.
