How many years in prison will she get?

This is about the exact amount of time she is sentenced to, regardless of time served. i.e. if she gets "5 months which means no additional time since she's got time served" the result will treated as 5 months

Are we all on the same page, as written in the description, that we are going to use the raw sentence, so that if she gets 'time served' it'll be treated as a sentence of however long she's been serving time?

@Ernie I've assumed she spent the time since trial in prison, but some coverage suggests this might not have been the case. I couldn't quickly find an unequivocal statement on this.

Ellison's own legal team argues to get "time served", so this basically rules out anything less than a year.... https://hachyderm.io/@molly0xfff/113119497714977840

okay, going with her raw sentence.

I think it makes sense to focus on what is in the sentence - discounting time served means the market now combines a) predictions about how long the trial will take until sentencing and b) the actual setence.
