@Sketchy Yeah, it's kind of a market with an incentive to go submit more links to other websites. Which was against the rules. Maybe if it ran every week for awhile.
I'm also betting yes, because 1 person can cause this to happen, and then it usually does.

I just think it encourages behavior that's going to reflect badly on Manifold and burn some good will. People on HackerNews are sensitive to attempts to game the ranking.
