The world currently uses about 7000 living languages, although around 40% are currently endangered. When the last native speaker of a language dies, it is considered to have gone extinct.
Where in the world will the next language to go extinct come from? This will be resolved according to this list of extinct languages on Wikipedia, which is sorted by date of extinction. To qualify, a new entry must be added to that table with a reliable source meeting Wikipedia's quality standards. I'll wait a few days after any new entry to be sure.
I will resolve all correct locations as yes, except for trivially correct locations (like "Earth" or "the visible universe"). For instance, if the language was from Papua New Guinea, I would resolve "Oceania" and "Papua New Guinea" as correct, assuming they were added as answers.
As of now (2023.10.20), the last language to go extinct was the Columbia-Moses language in May of 2023.
