I've previously predicted in similar markets for the cumulative highest view count in a month. I think these have got a bit stale as the answers tend to be repetitive.

This market is for the articles on English Wikipedia that achieve more than 1 million views in a single day, throughout the month. Hopefully this will better capture the zeitgeist and breakout articles of the month rather than the slow-burning trends and background noise that have won the cumulative markets.

Last July had the following:

  • Paul Reubens

  • Sinéad O'Connor

  • J. Robert Oppenheimer

  • Oppenheimer (film)

  • Carlos Alcaraz

  • Novak Djokovic

  • Huw Edwards

  • The Idol (TV Series)

Previous months' winners are as follows:

2024-05 - Ebrahim Raisi

2024-04 - O. J . Simpson; Solar Eclipse of April 8, 2024; WrestleMania XL; Indian Premier League

2024-03 - Akira Toriyama; Frances Scott Key Bridge (Baltimore); 96th Academy Awards; Flat white; Emma Stone

2024-02 - Toby Keith; Usher (musician); Patrick Mahomes; Travis Kelce; List of Super Bowl Champions; Super Bowl LVIII; Carl Weathers; Poonam Pandey

2024-01 - Royal Rumble (2024); New Year's Day; Republic Day (India); Griselda Blanco

This is the resolution source for the market: https://pageviews.wmcloud.org/topviews/?project=en.wikipedia.org&platform=all-access&date=2024-06-01&excludes=

If something wins, let me know in the comments and I'll resolve that option, no need to wait for the end of the month.
