I'm updating the original market's resolution criteria in light of this, but I still want to see people's new weird ideas of who might be person of the year!
If you think the original market will not resolve to "Other", you can bet on that here with the answer [The Main Market will not resolve to "Other"].
If you do think it will resolve to "Other", submit new answers here! If the original market resolves to "Other", this market resolves according to the same rules as the original market, choosing among the options submitted here. If this market also hits the 100 answer limit, I will keep making markets. I might have a problem.

Yeah I'm certain, in fact I'm inclined to resolve this market early to free everyone's mana up. We have all nine finalists covered, and I'd resolve to them even if there were minor variations like adding "the spirit of china" to Xi or something. So it should be literally impossible for Other to resolve yes.
@Joshua What if it resolves to Trump prosecutors as a group rather than an individual person, though?
Edit: Nevermind, I realized the description of the original market said it would resolve to people representative of the group in that case
@PlasmaBallin The rules in the original market state that if there's no group that is predictive of the choice, then it resolves to individual people who are predictive of the choice. So that's Jack Smith etc which were submitted.

@Joshua Hmm? In that case don't both markets simply resolve to "Other"? Since 1) the correct answer to the main market is "Other", and 2) the correct answer to this market is "Other", and the the main market resolved to "Other".
This is correct, but did not seem as clear in the dream. Here, I'll make it worse for myself just for fun:
@Joshua say the Times puts "The Others"... does this resolve YES? I'd guess so as the closest approximation and in the spirit of it, but maybe you want literally only the word "Other" with no other non-punctuation characters
