Stock markets don't count as prediction markets.
Media from 2022 and before don't count.
If in video form, it must be at least 60 minutes video (so movie or multiple episodes).
If I judge that an alleged romantic comedy was made specifically to manipulate this market, it will only count if I enjoy it.
Was it a comedy? Certainly seems like it; there was a lot of laughing, much of which was intentional. The people on stage were trying to be funny.
Was it romantic? Most normal people would probably say that it was the opposite of romantic, quantizing and analyzing that which should be impulsive and mysterious. But most core manifold users would probably disagree with that definition of romanticism. It certainly involved romance.
I think the most disqualifying thing is that it was more of a reality TV show than a work of fiction, and "romantic comedy" is generally understood to mean the latter, even if it doesn't say that explicitly.
@Yev Yeah, does one of us making a 5m short on youtube count, or does it have to be a full length feature with a budget?
@MichaelWheatley I'm not sure what criteria I should set, so definitely bettor beware at this point.
I want to say something like at least 60 minutes of video, but I don't want to end up watching 60 minutes of drivel to see if it counts.
